Product Care

Lingerie & Delicates

Many of our garments are made from delicate fibers like silk and lace, so they require special care to lengthen their lifespan. We recommend hand-washing all lingerie and delicate pieces in cold or lukewarm water with a gentle detergent such as The Laundress' Delicate Wash.

Bras should be laundered after 2-3 wearings, and it is best to have a rotation of 2-3 everyday bras to allow the material time to return to its natural shape. Machine washing and drying damages fine fibers and causes undue stress by stretching out straps and rubbing on wires, so it is best to avoid this entirely. Taking a few extra precautions will ensure that you get plenty of wear from your beautiful new lingerie and intimate wear!

For more detailed instructions on hand-washing, check out our step-by-step guide on the blog.

Jewelry

It is recommended to keep jewelry from salt water, chlorine, sauna or any chemicals such as hairspray, perfume, oils, lotions, cleaning supplies etc. When not in use we recommend a quick clean with lukewarm water and mild soap. Completely pat dry with a non abrasive soft cloth before packing away in their box & an airtight plastic bag to help prevent tarnishing.

Silver Care

Silver is a beautiful precious metal and natural oxidization does happen after continuous wear from contact with moisture/oils from the skin, things you may use like perfume for example, lotions and exposure to the natural elements.

Bronze Care

Bronze is a metal that consists of a mixture of copper, tin and zinc giving it that gold tone and look without the expensive cost of gold. Making it very affordable to everyone who wants a lovely classic piece of jewelry. Just like most metals Bronze tends to oxidize. It is in its nature to age beautifully through everyday wear and being exposed to the natural elements. If you prefer to keep shiny use a jewelry polishing cloth.
